Ionic radiation is that which reacts with matter and produces ions. Radiation can be natural and man made. The source of natural radiation is found in outer space and naturally in the core of air, water, food,Earth,sun and various natural occurring isotopes such as uranium-238 ,potassium-40 are The known radioactive substances. and the source of man made radiation are medical x-rays machines,television,tobacco,smoke detector,nuclear medicine etc
